    Why Cinnabon, Why?

So GoodAs I was perusing the interwebs today, I came across an interesting article dealing with the most common foods we come across while shopping in our malls, and which ones to avoid at all cost.

Cinnabon was one of them :(

My love for Cinnabon came in my early twenties as I would travel back and forth between school in Orlando (Full Sail) and home in Miami. There was a rest stop in the Florida Turnpike halfway in between the aforementioned cities, which always made it the perfect place to rest and grab a snack.

That’s where I tasted the most delicious cinnamon roll ever. I made a point of stopping there every time I’d drive by and pick up a four-pack to keep in the refrigerator, and then I would have one for breakfast each day until I ran out.

I recently discovered that my years of gluttony have finally caught up to me in the way of high cholesterol and triglycerides, which means, no more fried greasy food for me. In other words, NO MORE CINNABONS!!!

It will be hard to adjust to a new diet, especially coming from a Hispanic background; we live on fried foods. But, I look forward to being more active. It’s been a while since I’ve played volleyball or gone to the gym, and if I ever want to eat a cinnabon, I’ll have to take better care of my body to make it happen.
